I was going to wait a little while to post this since Valentine’s Day is still about 3 weeks away. BUT I’ve been out and about the last few days shopping and everything is pink and red! Every single store I went to, I immediately saw Valentine’s Day stuff front and center. So, I figured it wasn’t too early to post these Valentine’s date ideas for introverts.
If you’ve been dating an introvert for a little while now or are an introvert yourself, you might already know that a successful and amazing date probably isn’t the most extravagant or flashy thing. Some of the best dates you’ve had with your introverted partner were most likely simple. If you’re trying to figure out what to do this Valentine’s Day, I’ve got you covered! The awesome thing is that these don’t even have to be done on Valentine’s Day.
7 Valentine’s Date Ideas For Introverts
A picnic at the park:
Odds are your partner has a favorite spot in their town or city. It’s a place that they never get tired of and can enjoy some fresh air at the same time. Add a nice picnic on top of being in their favorite place and you’re all set. This is weather permitting of course. 🙂
Rent a few movies:
Easy peasy. If you don’t have a video store near you that rents out movies, you can always do so online through Amazon or even your gaming console. Either way, it’s only a few bucks for a couple movies and microwave popcorn.
Cook a delicious homemade dinner for OR with them:
Going out to dinner at a nice restaurant is all fine and good, but Valentine’s Day is probably one of the busiest evenings with everyone doing just that! Most introverts would probably prefer to avoid the overwhelming crowds of people, so staying in and making a nice dinner is a great option. If you’re not much of a chef, that’s okay because the internet has got you covered. Pinterest rarely fails me, but when it does Tasty has some great ideas as well. The cool thing is that you don’t have to spend all afternoon in the kitchen by yourself, but can include your partner as well.
Another one of the best Valentine’s date ideas for introverts is taking a mini vacation and enjoying a secluded getaway. Depending on the lifestyle you live, this can be a number of different things. You could rent a romantic cabin or even just a hotel room and enjoy room service. Sometimes getting away from it all and enjoying each other’s company in solitude is the best.
Give each other a massage:
If you’re on a budget, then lucky you! This costs ZERO dollars (unless you want oils). Help each other relax and feel good by giving each other a nice massage.
Spend some time doing what they love:
This could be anything really, but if you’re wanting to be more romantic, do something together that you don’t typically do. The gesture will go so much further.
Netflix and takeout:
Sometimes ordering some fried rice and spending the evening with a good Netflix binger is the best thing. You make it easy on both of you by ordering takeout and finding a good show on Netflix. You really can’t go wrong.
You’ve probably noticed that most of these Valentine’s date ideas for introverts are pretty simple and relatively cheap. Lucky for you, your introverted partner probably appreciates and enjoys the simpler things. If you’re worried that it might not be enough or they may not like it, talk to them. Discuss what your Valentine’s Day plans will be together and go from there!
