Hi, Sunshine! Guess what? October (or Blogtober, but I’ll get to that in a minute) is finally here. Yeah, I’m pretty excited too… and no, it has nothing to do with the fact that my birthday is this month. Or maybe it does, but that’s not the only reason LOL. Plus, the falling leaves, pumpkin spice, Halloween, bonfires… the list really could go on for ages.
I woke up this morning feeling so refreshed and renovated! I’ve been feeling frustrated and out of balance recently, so waking up today and feeling great was a nice change. It’s like I have this surge of motivation coursing through my veins. I listened to my favorite podcast this morning and then scrolled through my WordPress reader. I came across a post by the Farsickness Traveler about a Blogtober challenge, so naturally, I was interested. This past week has been a challenge for me to set aside time to get anything done which has been disappointing, but I’m really excited to get started on this challenge.
What is the Blogtober Challenge?
Well, from what I understand it’s a challenge to create content for your blog. You’re supposed to post a new blog post every day for the month of October about whatever you’d like. So, you can get as creative as you want.
Why am I doing the Blogtober Challenge?
Well, the biggest thing is that I’ve been wanting to create more regular content for everyone reading my blog. I have some hefty goals that I want to accomplish by the end of the year, and I’m not going to be able to without content and readers. 🙂 It can definitely be difficult especially with everything that goes on in your daily life to find the time to do certain things. Sticking to this challenge might be difficult at times, but it will also keep me on track. I really hope to gain more readers and give you guys kick ass content!
Actually, doing this challenge might help me get ahead on content. If I’m feeling in the writing mood, I might be able to knock out a couple posts per day to have scheduled ahead of time. SCORE! I already had some stuff planned for this week which I’m excited about (course reviews for starters), so this should be fun. Anyway, happy Blogtober!
