If you read my newsletter, then you know that I said I’d be reviewing 2 courses that I recently took. The first one was Making Sense Of Affiliate Marketing (seriously awesome course!). Make sure you take a peek! The second course I took was called The Social Glue Playbook. It was pretty short, but jam packed with info. It’s why I decided to try out hosting a coffee chat!
What is a coffee chat?
Alright, so since I know most of you online, it wouldn’t make much sense to meet up for coffee, right? If any of you are in the Seattle area then that might be something we could do LOL, but probably not for the majority of you. Basically, a coffee chat is a session via phone or Skype and all we do is get to know each other. This is not a sales call (I don’t have anything to sell you at the moment anyway) and is intended to build relationships.
It can get crazy in the online world because a lot of people are only out for themselves. They want you to buy their products, share their content, etc., but never end up reciprocating. It can make you feel isolated, or at least it makes me feel that way sometimes. These coffee chats are a great way to really build those connections with other people and build real lifelong friendships.
How did the Social Glue Playbook help me?
Honestly, I never would have thought of doing something like this. The introvert in me wants to run far, far away from this idea and binge Netflix instead.
When I took the training though, it made a lot of sense. I don’t dislike talking to people, but I don’t care for talking on the phone. Anyone who knows me knows that I prefer to text or message through social media. It’s just easier and less stressful for me. But, from a business point of view it’s a really great idea.
After I got over my initial anxiety about it, I’m actually pretty excited. I do like meeting and connecting with new people, so it should be pretty interesting. Besides, it’s not a sales call, so there’s really no pressure. 🙂 The Social Glue Playbook breaks all of it down and gives you some tips on how to maximize these coffee chats. I actually got this as my free training from my Sparkle Hustle Grow subscription box (You can get more info on my Recommendations page). I believe its normally like $27 for the course.
What do you get out of scheduling a coffee chat with me?
Well, first off it’s completely free for you of course! Like I mentioned before, it’s not a sales related call. This call is to give us an opportunity to connect and get to know each other. I think we could all use a few more friends in the online world, am I right? Speaking of friends, have you checked out my Introverted Entrepreneurs Tribe Facebook group?
Secondly, I want to know what I can do to help you in your own business. I’d like to take some time to get to know what your goals are for your business. I want to hear about what is going well for you and where you are struggling. Ultimately, aside from getting to know you, I want to be able to help you achieve your goals!
Shoot me an email or you can comment below if you’d be interested in having a coffee chat with me. It will be fun, I promise!
